Spring Blossoms

I have really been enjoying this tree that is blooming in the front yard.

I'm not quite sure what the tree is. I think it's a type of crab apple.

Whatever it is, the blossoms are beautiful....and pink!

And their scent is subtle but sweet.

So much color after a long cold winter.

Welcoming Spring and Summer to Minnesota.

The blossoms will fade from pink to almost white.

And then they'll fall and carpet the ground around the tree. Open your windows, take it all in. Isn't Spring grand?
