They do to me. Anyway, there are other signs that summer is coming. Billy has travel baseball tryouts this week. So far so good. Is it wrong for me to really want him to get one coach rather than the other?
The schedules are arriving for our Co-ed softball team, Eric's men's softball team, and women's softball team. Our new bat arrived in the mail last week. Eric's team had practice already, mine are next week.
Brian's soccer starts in less than a month. We'll have that schedule to add to the calendar too.
We could use a little rain...but the trees and bushes are starting to bud. The grass is starting to turn green. One of the neighbors is mowing his yard as I type this. What? Umm, that's pushing it just a little I think. There is one in every neighborhood isn't there. Unless you live in the country...then you don't worry about what the neighbors are doing. Did I mention I like the country?
Summer...and busy schedules, and warm weather, and outdoor projects, and outdoor grilling, and weddings, and riding bike, and riding horse, and the farm, and the cabin, and the warm sun. Doesn't it sound grand? Oh, and the beach and summer clothes......and white pasty legs....and diets that needed to be started sooner....
.....um....maybe I'm not ready for summer after all. It's supposed to be 50 degrees on Sunday isn't it? Maybe it will stay that way for a long time. I can only hope. Or not. Gosh, it isn't easy being me.
Happy Spring!!
