Autumn is Here

The seasons are changing faster than my blog!  A few weeks ago, the days were still a little summery. Fall was in the air.  But now, Fall is definitely here!  Ready of not!  The flowers were brightly blooming in the front yard.

A little color was showing up in the leaves here and there.

Greta could spend a long time outside pretending to be a black panther.

Another flower blooming in the backyard.

There were even a few petunias blooming.

We went to one last baseball game.  The Twins played the Indians on an unusually warm night.  It was 80 degrees at game time...so glad that we went. It was a close game, tied after nine innings.  The Indians changed pitchers at least 8 times.  It was crazy.

The Indians first baseman Carlos Santana and the Twins Shortstop Danny Santana hanging out together at first base.  The Twins used to have pitcher Johan Santana...it gets confusing sometimes.

Anyway, the Twins won in the bottom of the 10th with a walk off single by Trevor Plouffe.  Nice hit, exciting game ending with a win on beautiful evening...can't ask for much more than that.

The Gatorade bath during the after the game interview was pretty impressive.

We returned from the game and Brian wanted us to see all the tree frogs in the front of the house.  Only one is in focus here, but there were three on the bottom of the house light.  Minding their own business catching bugs.

Until this one leaped over to the side of the house.  It was a mighty leap!  I was afraid it would leap onto me next!!  It jumped back onto the light...thank goodness!

Little frogs are cute from a distance, but the thought of one leaping onto me makes me shudder.  And that's all I have to say about that!  Anyway, the little frogs must be thinking more about hibernating with the cold days and nights that have come our way.  If these cool days are any indication winter will be here before we know it!

I'll try to catch up with my daily photos over the next few days.  Thanks for stopping by!
